2022-currently: Postdoctoral Position (Juan de la Cierva Incorporación) in the Marine Ecology and Resources Group at the Institute of Marine Research (CSIC), Spain.

2021-2022 (12 months): Postdoc Researcher in the Harmful Algae Group at the Oceanographic Center of Vigo (IEO), Spain.

2018-2021 (28 months): Postdoctoral Position (Juan de la Cierva Formación) in the Fish Larval Biology and Physiology Group at the Institute of Marine Research (CSIC), Spain.
    * Postdoctoral research stay in the Department of Fisheries  and Oceans at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Bedford, Canada (2019, 3 months).

2017-2018 (15 months): Researcher in the Harmful Algae Group at the Oceanographic Center of Vigo (IEO), Spain.

2014-2017 (30 months): Senior Research Assistant (PTA Program) in the Aquaculture Department at the Oceanographic Center of Vigo (IEO), Spain.
   * Postdoctoral research stay in the Fish Muscle Research Group at the Scottish Oceans Institute, University of St Andrews, UK (2016, 3 months).

2012-2014 (24 months): Researcher in the Ecology and Marine Biodiversity Lab at the Institute of Marine Research (CSIC), Spain.

2008-2012 (48 months): PhD Student (FPI Fellowship) conducting research related with physiological and genetic effects of triploidy induction in turbot. Spanish Institute of Oceanography (Aquaculture Department, Oceaonographic Center of Vigo).
   * Predoc research stay in the Fish Muscle Research Group at the Scottish Oceans Institute, University of St Andrews, UK (2011, 5 months).

2007-2008 (14 months): Research Technician in the Laboratory of Marine Ecology (Ecology and Animal Biology Department) at the University of Vigo, Spain.


                                     SCIENTIFIC DIVING
2022-2023 Member of the scientific diving team that conducted the underwater surveys of ECOSUMA project within the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. Institute of Marine Research of Vigo (CSIC). 

2017-2020 Member of the scientific diving team that conducted the underwater surveys of Hippoparques project within the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. Institute of Marine Research of Vigo (CSIC). 


2014-2018: Member of the scientific diving team that tracks Biodiversity of the Marine Environment of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park.


2014-2016: Freelance Researcher and Diver at Bioimaxe, a marine biology consultancy specialized in scientific diving and underwater documentaries.

2012-2015: Member of the scientific diving team that conducted the underwater surveys of Cefaparques project within the archipelago of the Cies Islands. Institute of Marine Research of Vigo (CSIC). 

2013-2014: Member of the scientific diving team that performed dives in Ensenada San Simon (Redondela, Galicia) to obtain photographic and video material with the aim of producing a photographic exhibition and a documentary on marine biodiversity of Ensenada San Simon.

2012-2013: Collaboration in the underwater surveys of the project "Natural populations, breeding and repopulation assay with the seahorse Hippocampus guttulatus. Institute of Marine Research of Vigo (CSIC). 

2012: Collaboration in the diving activities within the National Park of the Cabrera Archipelago (Balearic Islands) organized by the Fish Ecology Group of the Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Studies (IMEDEA, Mallorca, Spain). 


2010: Collaboration in the collection of samples by scuba diving for the Scottish Oceans Institute (University of St Andrews, UK).

2007-2008: Participation in the underwater surveys of the project "Study of recruitment and growth of the razor clam (Ensis arcuatus) in the Ría of Pontevedra". University of Vigo. 

2007: Collaboration in the underwater surveys of the project "Mapping  the wrecks of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park". Xunta de Galicia.
